The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), set up in January 1991. It plans the city, allots its land on 90-year leases through its own schemes, and runs its services. Noida next door is a separate authority.
Is Greater Noida the same as Noida?
No. Both are in Gautam Buddh Nagar district, but Noida is developed by the NOIDA Authority and Greater Noida by GNIDA. Their sectors, schemes and rates are separate.
Where is the sub-registrar office for Greater Noida?
Property is registered with the sub-registrar of Uttar Pradesh's Stamp and Registration Department (igrsup.gov.in), not with GNIDA. GNIDA executes the lease deed; registering it is a separate step at the sub-registrar, with stamp duty payable on top of GNIDA's premium. This site has not transcribed the department's office list, so it does not name an office.
What is Site 4 in Greater Noida?
Not a name in any GNIDA document read for this site. GNIDA's rate order and scheme lists name Greater Noida's industrial land by Ecotech sector, Udyog Vihar and Udyog Kendra, and by numbered sector; none uses 'Site 4'.
Which villages are in Greater Noida?
GNIDA's List of Notified Villages names them, with the notification that brought each in: 7436 of 28-01-1991 for the first villages, 413 of 21-02-1994, and 3146 of 14-06-2006 and 2137 of 25-11-2010 for the expansion area. Being notified means GNIDA plans the village; it does not mean anything in it is for sale. Jaganpur and Yakutpur are not in the list.
