What is the Yamuna Expressway area?
The land YEIDA develops along the 165 km, 6-lane Yamuna Expressway from Greater Noida to Agra. Its Phase I city, about 25,000 hectares, is numbered in sectors - residential in parts of Sectors 16, 17, 18, 20 and 22, institutional in 17, 22 and 23, commercial mainly in 14 and 15, mixed land use in 12, 24 and 35, and industrial parks in 28, 29, 32 and 33, by YEIDA's own property pages.
Can I buy a government plot near Jewar airport?
Only through a YEIDA scheme, and none for residential plots is open. The nearest YEIDA sectors to the airport - the Medical Device Park in Sector 28 is 3 km from it, Film City in Sector 21 4 km - are sold to businesses. Residential plots have gone by draw in Sectors 15C, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22D and 24A; the last, RPS10/2026, closed 06-05-2026.
Is YEIDA Sector 18 the same as Greater Noida Sector 18?
No. YEIDA's Sector 18 is a residential sector of about 1,846 hectares on the Yamuna Expressway, with 12,748 plots by YEIDA's count. Greater Noida and Noida each have their own sector numbered 18, under different authorities.
What about Jaypee Sports City?
It is a private township in YEIDA's area, not a YEIDA scheme. YEIDA's scheme page lists a 'Jaypee Sports City Homebuyers Information Collection Form', dated 06-07-2026. Nothing there is sold through YEIDA.
Which villages are under YEIDA?
1,187 notified villages across six districts, listed in YEIDA's notified villages document (in Hindi). Farmers whose land was acquired have their own entitlements - YEIDA's 7 per cent abadi plots - allotted among them, not sold to the public.
