Development authorities publish their colony layout plans
inside auction booklets that run to a hundred pages, and take them down when the auction
ends. Every drawing here is cut out of the authority's own published document and kept on
record whether or not anything is for sale, so a plot number can be found on a sheet a year
after the auction closed.
Nothing here is ours. Each drawing is the authority's own, and the booklet it
came out of is named on the scheme it was published with.
An authority publishes one file and a reader wants one page of it. Each booklet is cut
page by page: a run of pages becomes its own PDF, a single page becomes an image, and every
layout drawing becomes an image of its own. Nothing on this site links the hundred-page
original.
A drawing is filed against the place it draws, not the auction it arrived with, so when
the same colony is advertised again the new scheme shows the same sheet rather than a second
copy of it.
