Every JDA scheme number, what it is called and what was built in it
JDA names a scheme by number rather than by name, and the number is how the authority and most people in Jabalpur refer to a place. This is JDA's own register, read on 2026-10-02: 18 schemes it has finished and handed over, and 10 it is building now. None of it is for sale here. Fully developed and handed over to the Jabalpur Nagar Nigam, except Scheme 27 Katanga, which JDA's own table says went to the Cantonment Board, and Scheme 41, which its table marks as still developing and already handed over. The area, the date and what was built in each are JDA's own columns, and the Hindi name beside each is JDA's own spelling.

- Scheme No. 65 - Nirmalchand Jain Nagar launched 31 August 2016 about 235 acres A sector-planned township. JDA says the 20 per cent of land returned to the farmers it was acquired from is freehold, and that the 48 m wide, 1.35 km SR-3 road has started. Planned: multi-storey residential, a local shopping centre, an office complex, a health centre, a sports complex, educational plots, a police station, playgrounds, gardens, a sewage treatment plant whose water is to be reused, multi-level parking and utility ducts.
- Scheme No. 62 - Dr K. L. Jain Nagar launched 31 August 2017 about 298 acres JDA says the 20 per cent returned to farmers is freehold and that the Madhotal bridge is being built. Planned: a 50 m ARP-4 road with a central verge, carriageway and service roads, three underbridges, group housing on both sides of the main road, four primary schools and one higher secondary, a community hall, a police post, playgrounds, gardens, 17 per cent of the scheme as green area, a 1,731 sq m club, a yoga and meditation centre, sewerage, water supply and utility ducts.
- Scheme No. 64 - Subhashchandra Banerjee Nagar launched 17 May 2018 about 225.36 acres JDA says the 20 per cent returned to farmers is freehold and that the 48 m wide, 1.30 km SR-3 road has started. Planned: large-scale residential on one side, a cycle track, rickshaw parking, street lighting, bus stops, footpaths, a convention shopping centre, a marriage garden, a multi-utility zone, a large industrial area with big plots, a fire station, an electricity substation, a shopping complex, a health centre or nursing home, a sports complex, a school, a police station, a community centre, playgrounds, gardens, sector planning, a sewage treatment and pumping plant, parking, 10 per cent green area and utility ducts.
- Scheme No. 11 (phase II) - Shatabdipuram MIG flats 48 MIG 2 BHK flats, each 1,160 sq ft built-up, total estimated cost ₹12,04,46,780.
- Scheme No. 5 - Vijay Nagar villas 27 HIG villas on 40,382 sq ft, each 1,300 sq ft built-up, total estimated cost about ₹9 crore.
- Scheme No. 2B - Basant Vihar Bajnamath LIG 104 LIG buildings in two blocks, A 48 and B 56, on a proposed 34,800 sq ft, total estimated cost about ₹9.87 crore.
- Scheme No. 2B - Basant Vihar Bajnamath MIG duplexes 21 MIG duplexes, each 1,817 sq ft built-up, on a proposed 31,500 sq ft, total estimated cost about ₹6.27 crore.
- Scheme No. 14 - ISBT commercial complex A large commercial complex on a proposed 2,871.73 sq m with a 1,010 sq m basement, estimated cost about ₹5.67 crore: 41 shops on the ground floor, 22 office chambers on the first and 28 rooms on the second.
- Scheme No. 5/14 - Pt Vishal Pachauri commercial complex A residential-cum-commercial complex on a proposed 4,561.60 sq m, basement plus ground and six floors, estimated cost about ₹18.58 crore: 26 shops on the ground floor, 21 office chambers on the first, and 20 three-bedroom and 40 two-bedroom flats from the second to the sixth.

A transferred scheme is a finished colony that now belongs to the Jabalpur Nagar Nigam, so JDA sells nothing in it and neither does this page - the register is here because the scheme number is what a person searches with, and knowing that Scheme No. 5 is Vijaynagar is a real answer. What is the JBP full form, and what is a JDA market?
JBP is the common short form of Jabalpur, used on number plates, railway boards and by the city itself; JDA is its development authority. A JDA market or JDA shopping centre is one of the commercial blocks the authority built inside its numbered schemes - Scheme No. 7 is the Adarsh Market at Ranjhi, Scheme No. 35 is the Arjun Complex at Bhanwartal, and shopping centres were built in Schemes 2A, 3, 5, 6, 9, 11, 14, 15, 18, 19, 26 and 27 as well. Most of them now belong to the Jabalpur Nagar Nigam. The two JDA is building are at the ISBT and near Deendayal Chowk.
What is a JDA scheme number?
JDA plans and builds by numbered scheme, and the number stays with the colony long after it is finished. Scheme No. 5 is Vijaynagar, in two phases of 194 and 163.87 acres started in 1968 and 1979. Scheme No. 14 is the ISBT and Vikas Nagar, 297.41 acres from 1983. Scheme No. 26 is Ranjhi, 568.50 acres and the largest JDA has built. Can I buy a plot in a JDA scheme?
Not in a transferred one. Every scheme in the register above has been fully developed and handed to the Jabalpur Nagar Nigam - Scheme 27 Katanga went to the Cantonment Board - so JDA has nothing left to sell there and a resale is a private sale between owners. What JDA itself offers appears on this page when it opens an offer, and goes through vikaspradhikaran.mponline.gov.in.
