Payment plan
- Ten per cent of the plot's premium is the earnest money, paid online with the application.
- Forty per cent of the premium, less that earnest money, falls due within 60 days of the allotment letter and carries no interest; an allottee may instead pay the whole premium within 90 days.
- The remaining 60 per cent is paid in four equal half-yearly instalments with interest at 10 per cent a year, revised every 1 January and 1 July.
- Default adds 3 per cent compounded half-yearly on top, so 13 per cent on the defaulted amount for the defaulted period, and missing the 40 per cent deadline cancels the allotment and forfeits the earnest money.
- The lease deed can be executed only after 40 per cent of the premium and one year's lease rent are paid, and possession is deemed given from the date the lease deed is executed.
