Possession without services (secondary)Amar Ujala (11 March 2025) reported allottees of the 2,208 flats protesting at KDA that six months after possession there was no electricity connection, water or working sewer, and that about 500 had moved in. The same report says the flats were allotted in 'September 2004', which conflicts with its own headline ('received in seven years') and with the 2020 lottery; the year is kept as printed. KDA's own layout, citing a Tehsildar report of 23 February 2023, marks 16 commercial plots (C-1/6, 7, 19-28 and C-3/1, 19, 20, 21), most mixed-use pockets and some facility plots as disputed. Those plot numbers were not in the auctions; check the plot number against that list before bidding on any later offer.
Are water, power and sewer working?
In March 2025 flat allottees told Amar Ujala there was no electricity connection, water or working sewer six months after possession, and KDA said the power connection charge had been paid. A sewage works for Sakrapur and Bhagirathi-Janhvi was tendered in November 2023. Current status is not published; see the site before committing.
Can I still apply for a PM Awas flat here?
No open registration for these flats was found on KDA's site. KDA does publish a list of 520 allottees here who paid only the Rs 5,000 registration; what KDA will do with those flats is not stated.
