Powai, Mumbai: MHADA colony, Powai - nothing on offer right now

Powai is on MHADA's Mumbai Board estate list under Estate Manager III, alongside Chandivali. MHADA's own project there is small and specific: 40 HIG tenements of about 402 sq ft carpet, in a stilt-plus-ten-storey building on land at village Kopari and Chandivali, built between 2005 and 2008. MHADA's status note says the building is physically completed and was proposed for advertisement, with allotment held up waiting on certificates and utility connections from the municipal corporation and the power company. Everything else people call MHADA Powai is older MHADA housing now owned and resold privately.
