Mulund East, Mumbai: MHADA colonies and transit camps - nothing on offer right now

Mulund East is not one MHADA colony but several. MHADA's own Mumbai Board estate list names Mulund three times - Mithagar Road, Nahur and Navghar Road - and a PMGP colony at Mulund on top of those. The largest live project is at Gavanpada, where MHADA is redeveloping its existing transit camp: 406 transit tenements of about 269 sq ft, 442 EWS of about 301 sq ft, 258 MIG of about 480 sq ft and 11 shops. MHADA's own status note is blunt about how far that has got - 218 transit tenements and the shops were physically completed in 2011, work on 188 more transit tenements is in progress, and the EWS and MIG tenements have not started. A separate rehab building is under construction on Navghar Road at what MHADA's approval papers call New PMGP MHADA Colony. None of this is on sale: these are transit, rehabilitation and EWS tenements, allotted rather than advertised.
