Chandivali is a MHADA estate on the Mumbai Board's list, about 10 km from Ghatkopar station by MHADA's own reckoning. The scheme MHADA built there between 2005 and 2008 holds 21 MIG tenements of about 390 sq ft, 28 HIG tenements of about 598 sq ft and 14 shops from about 65 to 286 sq ft, in stilt-plus-seven-storey buildings with lifts. It is listed among MHADA's completed projects. Flats in the wider Chandivali and Powai MHADA colonies are owner-held and resold privately; MHADA is not the seller.
