Abhyudaya Nagar, Mumbai: MHADA colony under redevelopment - nothing on offer right now

Abhyudaya Nagar at Kalachowki is one of the MHADA Mumbai Board colonies being taken up for cluster redevelopment - MHADA issued the tender for it and published a press release on 24 January 2025. Published accounts of the colony describe 48 buildings across about 33 acres. Tendering has not been straightforward: a third tender in September 2025 drew three bids, and the award was still not finalised in December 2025. Until a redevelopment agreement is signed and rehabilitation flats are built, nothing here is on sale from MHADA. Existing residents hold their flats; what a cluster scheme eventually produces for sale, and when, is not something MHADA has published.
