Binola, Gurugram: highway industrial cluster - nothing on offer right now

Binola is a village on the Delhi-Jaipur highway at the 57 to 58 km stone, in Manesar, Gurugram district, and the honest thing to say about it is what it is not. It is on neither of HSIIDC's lists, and the Government of India's Gurgaon district profile - which names Udyog Vihar, Sector 34-35 and the IMT Manesar phases as the district's industrial areas - mentions Binola only inside a company's postal address, never as an industrial area of its own. What has grown there is an auto-component and die-casting cluster on the highway frontage: Mahavir Die Casters, IFB Automotive and SKH Technologies all carry Binola addresses in the Haryana Water Resources Authority's register, and Cast Master appears in the central government's own list of the district's large-scale industry. That is the Manesar auto supply chain spilling south along NH-48. Because there is no notified estate, there is no government plot register, no published boundary, no HSIIDC maintenance obligation and no single allotment authority: land use has to be checked plot by plot with the Town and Country Planning Department. We found no government document publishing an area, a plot count or a layout for a "Binola industrial area", and that absence is itself the finding. HSIIDC has nothing on offer here and, on this evidence, never will under that name.
