Environmental clearance, 17 April 2026The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change granted clearance (EC identification EC26A3101UP5708835N, file 10/121/2025-IA.III) for 'Development of Industrial Corridor over an area of 6867.66-Acres (2779.24 ha)' in Gola tehsil, at an estimated total capital cost of Rs 7,554.426 crore. The approved land use is 2,167.48 acres industrial (32.15 per cent), 1,515.95 residential group, 240.96 commercial, 426.19 institutional and public utilities, 260.78 mixed use, 1,115.68 green and open space, 140.87 transport nagar, 753.76 roads, 119.49 railway and 126.50 water bodies. The rate GIDA has set for itIn the 2026-27 costing schedule, industrial Sector S-5 (Dhuriyapar) is Rs 3,200 per sq m across all six size slabs, raised from Rs 2,900 in 2025-26. It is the only rate in the whole 2026-27 schedule that was increased, and it is less than half the Rs 6,600 to Rs 7,900 charged in the developed sectors.
