- Location: KDA's location plan puts KDA Residency off the 30 m road between Bara Devi Chauraha and Kidwai Nagar, beside Hamirpur Road, near a Guru Diwara and petrol pumps, with roads to Govind Nagar and the Naubasta bypass.
- Metro: Amar Ujala reported on 5 May 2026 that ticket machines were being installed on the seven stations from Kanpur Central to Naubasta (Jhakarkati and Transport Nagar underground; Baradevi, Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Baudh Nagar and Naubasta elevated) and that civil work on the CSA to Barra-8 corridor was in progress, with no opening date given.
