Frequently asked questions

Questions people ask

What is PropIQ?

PropIQ tracks government land and housing auctions in India — 1,942 plots from 7 development authorities and industrial corporations across 5 states. Every figure is transcribed from the authority's own published document and linked back to it. PropIQ is not affiliated with any authority and takes no payment for any listing.

Which authorities does PropIQ cover?

Delhi Development Authority (DDA, Delhi); Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB, Chandigarh (UT)); Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC, Haryana); Lucknow Development Authority (LDA, Uttar Pradesh); Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO, Rajasthan); Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA, Uttar Pradesh); Meerut Development Authority (MDA, Uttar Pradesh).

Can I bid through PropIQ?

No. Every bid, payment and application happens on the authority's own portal. PropIQ links to that portal from every scheme and every plot row, and takes no applications, payments or bids itself.

How often is the data updated?

The dataset is republished whenever a scheme is added or an authority changes a date. The figures on the site today are as published on 29 Aug 2026, which is stated in the footer of every page.

What does PropIQ check that an advertisement does not?

The charges on top of the reserve — freehold charge, lease rent, location premium, GST and TDS. Whether the authority's own count matches its own annexure: MDA advertises 134 commercial plots and itemises 138, LDA says 460 and lists 280, and both numbers appear here. Whether a corrigendum has already moved the auction date. And what every derived figure was computed from.

Does PropIQ recommend schemes?

No. PropIQ publishes what the authority published and does not rank schemes, forecast prices or rate an investment. The terms are the argument.
